What do you do when the going gets tough?

24 April 2020

Did you have a tough week? Or a tough couple of weeks? (Why should you have it easy!)

What did you do when the going got tough? Did you roll up your sleeves and jump into the detail? (If you did, then you aim to be the “strong” one.)

Or did you get above it all, out of the detail, to get a better view of the issue? (If you did, then you are the wise one.)

  • Now ask yourself, “Why did I instinctively behave the way I did?”

Be honest. With yourself.

Then you might surprise yourself next time the going gets tough.

(You can read about your options, including the cynical third way, on the NonsenseAtWork blog. Or listen on Spotify, Apple podcasts and other platforms.)
